TissueProp Lite app for iPhone and iPad

TissueProp Lite calculates the values of relative permittivity (er) and electrical conductivity (σ) for human tissues in the frequency range of 10 Hz to 100 GHz. This app can be very useful for people working in the bioelectromagnetics domain, i.e., for those interested in the biomedical applications and/or safety of the electromagnetic fields and radiation.
The calculation of these values is based on the parametric model and the parameter values developed by Camelia Gabriel and colleagues, who employed four Cole-Cole expressions for the data fitting (S. Gabriel, R.W. Lau and C. Gabriel: "The dielectric properties of biological tissues: III. Parametric models for the dielectric spectrum of tissues", Phys. Med. Biol. 41 (1996), 2271-2293)
TissueProp Lite is a fast and easy to use tool in order to calculate these values for a single tissue at a single frequency. In the full version the dielectric properties for all available tissues can be calculated at once and communicated by email.
